Error: Error in CURL request: SSL connect error - cpanel

Rahulkm

New Pleskian
Hello,

I have done a fresh installation of Parallels Web Presence Builder on a fresh cPanel server. After the installation, I can see the following error in WHM > Plugins > Presence Builder > Settings tab:

=
Error: Error in CURL request: SSL connect error
=

The server meets all the necessary requirements, as I have checked with the script (check.php) provided by parallels. A valid SSL certificate is already configured with the server.

Please help.

Make sure that host defined as secure_url parameter in /usr/local/cpanel/etc/webpresencebuilder.ini file is accessible. Contact Support Team if it not help.

Hello,

Thanks for the post, I am facing the same issue and the details are as below.
The error is as below
[2016-02-29 13:47:57 +0800] info [WPB] The user "......" failed to edit the website "....." because of the following: Error in CURL request: SSL connect error

My webpresencebuilder.ini is as below
url = http://domainname.com(Domain name)
secure_url =
password = password(Password)

However the secure_url is blank. Is there anyway we can use it without secure URL (ssl) ?
Or any way to resolve this issue.
